Namibia’s biggest waterfall is Epupa Falls, located on Namibia’s northern border on the Kunene River. Omarunga Lodge is located just a few hundred meters up the river from Epupa, where the crash of the falls becomes a gentle background rumble. Across the river the dark forests of Angola encroach from the mountains upon the northern banks as bare breasted Ovahimba women covered in ochre and animal fat roam along the Namibian side.
