The review process is simple.  Either myself or my colleague, Hans Fedderson, former editor of the Algemeine Zeitung and creator of the Plus newspaper, will come to you to discuss the review.  This will include costing, the theme of your article, and a first attempt at coming to understand your business.  Then Hans or I will have a sampling meal at your restaurant, or try your activity, or stay at your lodge for a night or two, and then write about it. 

You will receive a copy of the article before publication.  We won't change our impressions or give way on the writing, but we will be open to suggestion, and eager to correct factual errors.  With your final approval, your article will appear in Leisure Times Magazine, a copy of which will be placed in every hotel room on the coast and in Windhoek, and lots of other places (click on about us for more on our distribution).  Your article will also feature on Leisure Times Online at no extra cost.

Advertising

Straight advertising is even simpler.  If you are not a restaurant, activity provider, or lodge, you still have options.

Why Advertise in Leisure Times? 

Partly because we are such a small team, we have very little overhead, which leaves the costs much lower than other publications. 

We start as low as N$850 for a business card size ad, and offer the back cover for N$12,000.  Compare That to a newspaper that charges N$12,000 for a full page ad.  Newspapers have a readership of about 30,000.  So do we.  How many of those 30,000 newspaper readers will actually be interested in your ad?  How many readers of Leisure Times will be interested in your ad?  The newspapers go out to the entire general population of Namibia.
