The Dongina Risser Gymnastics Foundation is a group of ladies in Swakopmund headed by founder, Dongina Risser. All of the women here have been involved in gymnastics most of their lives, trying to keep a program going in spite of poor funding, poor resources, and no permanant gymnastics hall.
Their mission is simple. They want to build a gym that will last for future generations of kids who love the sport of gymnastics and provide a place where, with proper training, we may even be able to send future gymnasts to the olympics!
You can help by donating or adopting a gymnast. The responsibility for this is simply to provide gym and school fees for a child who otherwise would not be able to afford it. This amounts to about 500 Euro per year. This is something you can also do as a group!
